Stuck Like Glue

Hello everyone, this is the accused Victoria, you know, that one that Agustie blamed for creating this blog :P
Well, it all started when she mention the mentioned cowboy :) I came up with this awesome idea and so I'm am now contributing with my thoughts as co-reporter :)
I thought these stories are pretty cute and added to the theme, and if they aren't relevant... well, I just thought they were good. LOL Plus I have no other reports at the moment.

Story 1- After our one 4-H Shoot Day (that's a whole other story) my friends Desirae and Rance and I were sitting outside eating our snack and I was playing music on my iPod, and Stuck Like Glue came on and we all started singing. Now to put it into perspective, Rance NEVER takes his eyes off his Nintendo DS, but he did to sing the song with us. I thought that was something special :)

Story 2 - Our 4-H club had a Halloween Party and my guyfriend Branden and I were DJ'ing. Branden's one of the two (Agustie being the other) people that got me hooked on Stuck Like Glue. I decided to play it at the party. Well, little did I know that once I started playing it, Branden started singing it. I joined in and we sang til the end. Let's just say, it's not too often that you hear a 17 year old guy who loves rock music, sing a country song! Well, I will say it's just plain difficult getting a guy to sing a song.

Story 3 - And lastly, I can't leave out my Papa John. He's one of the dad's in our 4-H club. He dressed as a Cowboy/Outlaw for our Halloween Party, and I thought that fit this blog very well!
Thanks for stopping by and reading! Between myself and Agustie, we will be posting more stuff!
Until then,
-Forever & Always-

Welcome!

Hello, and thank you for taking time to read my silly little blog! You are probably wondering what this blog will be about, and WHY I would call it Cowboy News. Well, you see, I have a particular fondness for guys who wear cowboy hats, but really, the name of this blog is to be blamed on my best friend, Victoria.

It all happened on a Tuesday. It was a beautiful afternoon, and I was strolling through the college campus on my way to Anatomy and Physiology lab when I caught sight of a guy.... a guy with a cowboy hat! This guy was sitting on a bench outside of the science building, which is surrounded by different plants, and he had his head down while he was looking at his ipod or cell phone, or something of that sort. Because the guy had his head down, it was a clear view of the top of his hat. Well, it seemed to me that the top of a cowboy hat on a guy sitting on a bench in the middle of plants would make a perfect picture. So perfect, in fact, that it could be the cover of a country music album... or so I thought. Although I was greatly tempted to pull out my phone and take a picture of this guy, I turned away, minding my own business, and continued on my way to class.

So, that is the background story. But, last night I was texting my aforementioned best friend and I told her that story. When Victoria asked why I didn't just take a picture, I replied that it would have just been too weird. But Vicky, always being quick to find me good solutions to my problems, said that I should have told the guy that I was a reporter. I believe Vicky's exact words were "You could say you were a reporter.... a reporter of.... umm.... Cowboy News!". And so, there you have it, my blog was born, and, also, the URL address of my blog should now be understood :D

I cannot promise that I will update this blog a lot, because... well.... I can't guarantee how often I will have news to share. I do hope you will check back often, however, I do realize that it is more than likely that I will amuse myself more than anyone else, and that's okay. I enjoy amusing myself, audience or no audience! If you did enjoy this post, I ask that you please follow my blog so that I can "see" my regular visitors, and, in turn, visit your page :D
